Our Story

A curated store, not a catalog.

Moxco began as a running list of things we kept recommending to friends — the olive oil we kept re-ordering, the pan we'd never replace, the small ceramic bowl that somehow made the kitchen feel finished. We turned that list into a curated online store: a trusted e-commerce destination for home and workshop essentials, chosen by people who actually use them.

Opinionated curation

We don't stock everything, and we don't try to. Every item is chosen by someone who has lived with it — cooked with it, worn it, worked with it. If it isn't better than the thing it replaced, it doesn't make the shelf.

Built to last

We advocate for products, not seasons. A well-made pan, a properly ground salt, a knife that will outlast three of its cheaper cousins. Moxco is a quiet argument against buying twice.

Founder's Note

A note from Thomas

I started Moxco because I was tired of shopping. Not tired of buying things — I still love a well-made object — but tired of the noise: the ten-thousand-review search results, the algorithmic bestsellers, the sponsored picks pretending to be picks.

Moxco is my way of doing the opposite. We choose slowly. We use everything before we sell it. We only stock what I'd hand to a friend. If we get it right, this becomes the store you open when you've decided you're finally replacing that thing — and you want an honest recommendation from someone who stands behind it.

Thanks for being here.
